Can dental problems cause headaches, neck pain and pain in the lower back?
I have major dental problems that need to be addressed. (like 3 exposed root canals) I'm just wondering, can that lead to an infection in my jawbones or travel to my nervous system? I've been having dizziness and a real stiff neck and stiff lower back.

- Yes and if you are having those problems, you may want to see a dentist asap before your dental problems turn to abcess which can in the long run kill you. My husband had those same problems. Good Luck
- Any infection in your teeth can lead to infections elsewhere- infections can spread to the heart, sinus region, brain, etc. Very serious and this needs attention right away! Meanwhile, it's possible that when your teeth hurt, you're holding your head at a slight angle or hunching your shoulders unconsciously.
- I wouldnt worry about the pain in your back as much as i would worry about your exposed root canals. If they get infected, and your going to be stuck with some major problems. I suggest you go to the dentist, first thing tomorrow morning.
