Best mattress for long waist and back problems?

My fiance is very long waisted and we are going to buy a mattress in the future. I was wondering if there are any certain types that are good for long waisted people with back problems? We are thinking tempur-pedic.

1. I have back problems, actually I had a lumbar spinal fusion done 5 months ago, I bought a tempur-pedic mattress and I love it. Just check around and test them they come in different firmness, I have a super firm one and I can be in a lot of pain when I lie down to go to bed, but when I wake up I feel great.
