I have a lower back problem and was wondering if a lazy boy recliner would make it any worse?

I watch a lot of TV and am planning to go in for a lazyboy recliner. I just wanted to know if this would pose a problem for my lower back. Also does the lazyboy provide adequate lumbar support?

  1. Some do, some don't. Sit in them for a few min before your buy one. But before you get oen go to yoru doctor. My dad have lower back pain for a almost 2 years and it turned out to be a kidney infection.
  2. My dad has back problems and all he can use is Lazy boy............ He has to sleep in his.........
  3. how tall are you and how much do you weigh?
  4. it depends. just go to the store and try a lot of them out. i would sit in one for at least 15-20 minutes. and i am pretty sure they do make some with extra lumbar support. laz-e-boys are definitely the best recliners out there.
  5. sometimes soft surfaces can make back problems feel even worse because the back is not being properly supported. I would definetly sit in it for a while before I got it. If the store has one of the 30 day trials that would be even better.
