I have a lower back problem and was wondering if a lazy boy recliner would make it any worse?
I watch a lot of TV and am planning to go in for a lazyboy recliner. I just wanted to know if this would pose a problem for my lower back. Also does the lazyboy provide adequate lumbar support?

- Some do, some don't. Sit in them for a few min before your buy one. But before you get oen go to yoru doctor. My dad have lower back pain for a almost 2 years and it turned out to be a kidney infection.
- My dad has back problems and all he can use is Lazy boy............ He has to sleep in his.........
- how tall are you and how much do you weigh?
- it depends. just go to the store and try a lot of them out. i would sit in one for at least 15-20 minutes. and i am pretty sure they do make some with extra lumbar support. laz-e-boys are definitely the best recliners out there.
- sometimes soft surfaces can make back problems feel even worse because the back is not being properly supported. I would definetly sit in it for a while before I got it. If the store has one of the 30 day trials that would be even better.
